Come Sing with Circle of Song this Winter

What better way to celebrate the new year than to make music with others. Circle of Song has started their winter/spring semester and is planning for a public concert on May 17, 2007. Always eclectic, and always challenging, here is the line up for the spring:

- Contre Qui, Rose - by Morten Lauridsen; part of the Les Chansons des Roses song cycle which includes Dirait-on
- Lady Madonna - Beatles, arranged by the Swingle Singers
- Medley from Les Miserables by Claude-Michael Schonberg
- Elesa - Georgian Traditional Folksong
- Pacem Blessing - Patrick Liebergen

Circle of Song invites new members to join. Membership is $30/year. Chorus members range in age from 12 to 75 and from beginning musicians to professionals in the field. Contact director Julie Rawson at julie@mhof.net or (978) 355-2853. Rehearsals are (mostly) at the Quabbin Regional High School Chorus room on Thursdays from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Rehearsals started up again on Thursday, January 3, 2007. New singers are invited to join the group until February 15, 2007.
