Sing with Circle of Song in 2008!

Another great choral season with Circle of Song is about to begin this fall. Come join us on September 11 in making beautiful music that will be presented at a Holiday Concert on December 20 at the Barre Congregational Church. This is the music line up for this fall:
- John Rutter's Gloria, a major work performed with organ and brass
- Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, a capella, by Tchaikovsky//Funk
- O Magnum Mysterium, a capella , by Morten Lauridsen
- Amazing Grace, a capella , by Traditional/White
- Let There Be Music, by Gordon Young, with three trumpets and piano
- Let There Be Peace on Earth, eight parts, a capella, by David Harrington
- Star Carol, a capella, by Kola Owolabi
- Sicut Locutus Est, with piano, by Bach
Circle of Song invites new members to join. Membership is $30/year, $25/year for students. Chorus members range in age from 17 to 75 and from beginning musicians to professionals in the field. Contact director Julie Rawson at (978)-355-2853. Rehearsals will start this Thursday, September 11th and will continue at the Barre Town Hall on Thursdays from 6:45 - 8:45 pm. All new singers are invited to join.
